Hey guys!
Since MMartins had the generous idea of sharing his betting strategies, i decided to follow his example! We want to hear your hints as well! Don't forget about that...
My preference goes to football matches, and i regularly place my bets against the Draw. Why? It may seem a bit odd, but even if the Odd may not be exactly the most likely outcome, on the overall (in my opinion) the results tend to be positive.
Even if you may lose one bet or another, after a considerable number of bets you will probably find (as i did) that betting against the Draw is quite rewarding.
MMartins had some complaints over this strategy... in some way i agree with him when he says that it makes no sense to bet on a non-favourite outcome....
However, the results can speak for themselves, and i have done well with it so far!
Cheers,
Jose

Yes, for me betting on draws only on NHL! On Football it is better to bet against the non favorite because the chances of loosing or end draw are bigger than only not winning.
to be more clear for eg:
Super team of starts vs Average team
odds:
Super team 1.2
draw 2.3
Average team 3
If I bet on the draw (lay and back) I only "win" if the game ends with one of the teams winning. As average team is likely to loose or avoid to loose (draw) my chances of winning are only if the Super team wins...
if I bet on the Average team (lay and back) as it is more likely that it looses or draw I'm increasing my odds of winning at betfair.
this only applies when the teams are not equally good and exists clearly a strong team

I think, its better to trade away team, because home favorites most of the time will not loose, they draw.

It really depends from match to match!
For me, it's always better to follow the Bookmaker's choice and to lay the LEAST favourite at Betfair!

Sure... I don't know if you've noticed that the bookmakers are sorted according to the rollover conditions.
The bookmakers from the first level require less effort than the bookmakers from the higher levels. You won't find much of a problem by getting started with the first ones.
The idea is to get your wallet bigger as you keep transferring your bonus, and by the time you have to fulfill harder rollover conditions, we expect you to have enough money to cope with them with no trouble.
Give it a try with the first couple of bonuses in the list and you'll see!
