Scotland manager Craig Levein has been boosted by the return of

several key players from injury for the match against the Czech Republic in Prague.

Allan McGregor has recovered from a thigh problem to start in goal, while Alan Hutton andSteven Whittaker have been passed fit for the full-back positions.

David Weir and Stephen McManus assume the central defensive roles. Darren FletcherGary CaldwellGraham Dorrans and James Morrison have all been given the nod, as haveSteven Naismith and QPR's Jamie Mackie, who earns his first cap in what could be a 4-2-2-2 formation.

Levein's selection has been the subject of much speculation with and he confirmed on Thursday evening he has dropped the in-formKenny Miller in favour of QPR striker Jamie Mackie, who is in the squad for the first time.

But the Scotland boss claimed the ongoing debate was a "hindrance" to his preparations.

"It's frustrating," he said. "From my point of view, it doesn't help.

"My sole purpose is trying to win a match in Prague and it frustrates me that there are other agendas.

"There is nothing I can do about that - I just concentrate on the football side."
