Hi,

I am new to online betting and It would be nice if someone could help understand a couple of things.

I would like to know how to divide my investment between the betting house and Betfair.

For example if I have 100 euros, how much must be deposited at Betfair and how much at the betting house?

I would also like to know what happens to the liability on Betfair if I lose?

For example if I lose 30 euros liability on Betfair, is that same amount recovered with my winnings in the betting house?

Finally, how many bets do I usually have to make before my bonus is released with Bodog for example and once my bonus is released do I try to transfer it all in one bet to Betfair?

Thanks for your help and good luck with your bets )

Hi parabellum, sorry for the delay mate!

1- you should divide it like this: on the betting house you put the amount necessary for your bonus (it is said on the description of the house in our site) and all the rest on betfair

2- yes, if you see our calculator you'll see an "value to add to the bonus" which will be negative most of the times (because of the odds difference, if you find an odd higher on the betting house than on betfair it will be positive, try it ) that is the difference of the amount that you will win on the betting house. For eg, you loose 30€ on betfair, the calculator show you -0,50€ to add to bonus value, so you will win on the house 29,5€

3- usually, if all goes well and in the most of the houses, you can do it in only 2 bets. One of the money you deposit, and another of the bonus

I hope it was all clear to you, otherwise just let me know

Thanks for your help MMartins,

I understand things a bit better now.  I just need to clear up a few more things before I feel ready to start.

So what I understand is that I must never  withdraw any money directly from a betting house when the bonus is credited but instead I should I keep betting until all the money is transferred by lost bets to Betfair?

Also, if I get a 100 euros bonus for example, is it better to transfer it with one big 100 euro bet or several smaller 25 or 50 euro bets?

I have  noticed the Freebet Bonus option on the calculator, what exactly is it, and when should I use it?

Hi Parabellum! Welcome to Double Betting!

You're right about keep betting until all your money is transferred by lost bets to Betfair.

If you get a 100 euros bonus, it is better to place smaller bets such as 25's or 50's, because you will have less money transfered from Betfair to the Bookmaker if you lose your lay bet at Betfair. I suggest you to place 25€ bets or 30€ bets.

The free bet bonus option on the calculator is to be selected whenever you have a Stake Not Returned Bonus.

Freebet Stake Not Returned – It is a type of bonus on which the amount offered is not returned after the bet, meaning you get to keep only the profit if you win at the bookmarker that gave you the free bet. Example: Football match, France vs Norway. By betting 20€ on France with an odd of 2.0, the winnings would be 40€, but instead of keeping the 40€ (Profit + Bet Value) you will only be entitled to the profit , 20€. Usually this kind of bonuses is given with no withdrawing conditions.

Freebet Stake Returned – It is a kind of bonus that works as if you have deposited the money. Usually this kind of bonus attaches withdrawing conditions.

Have any of you guys already completed getting the bonuses of all the betting houses listed here?

The bonus list is submitted to changes from time to time.

I have personally profited nearly 2200€, but i have not completed some bookmakers from the last stage.

There are several people that have made it to the end though. All of them are members of the portuguese version of our community.

Read everything carefully before you get started! If you have any question we'll be here to help you!

I took nearly two and a half months to get my first 1000€. It really depends on how much time you spend every day.

I usually spend 20 minutes per day with my bets! It's not much.... The toughest part is to get to know how the system works.

After that it's piece of cake!

Cheers!

@djmonster, make sure you also accept to receive promotional emails from the bookmakers when you signup so that you can be informed about any temporary bonus offers.

Good luck with your bets! )
