Freebet stake not returned question

in this kind of bet you should always select the freebet button at the calculator.

To maximize the profit you need to bet at higher odds, even if the difference between betfair and the bookie is bigger than on a smaller odds bet, test it on the calculator and you will see that

I believe the question here is - how are we supposed to capture fx the 20 pound freebet by Coral, when they have such an entry in their ToS:

9.1 Where we offer to match a Customer's initial deposit as part of a promotion, this money is provided for Customers to bet with, and it may never be withdrawn as cash.

9.8 Any sports bet placed using bonus funds will not return the stake with any winnings.

The latter is confusing. Are they saying they wont even return the winning made with the freebet ??? So what is it ? Fun money?

And lets assume you can withdraw at least the winnings, so whats the strategy here ? You first hedge the qualifying wager and once you get the free money you go all or nothing with it ??

Please help me understand this!

You don't withdraw any money, you just lay the same bet at Betfair so your goal is to lose the bet at Coral but win the double bet at Betfair.

Coral seems to have changed their bonus policy since the time I got my bonus from them.  When they say that your freebet stake will not be returned with your winnings I believe that they mean you will only receive what you win with the 20 pounds but not the 20 pounds. If the 20 pounds produce a profit of 15 pounds you will only receive the 15 pounds instead of 35 pounds.

You must also use a double bet at Betfair when you use your freebet bonus so no matter if you lose on Coral or Betfair you will still receive your winnings. If ever you win at Coral then you will have to double bet again to try and transfer your money to Betfair with a loss at Coral and a win at Betfair.

When you use your freebet don't forget to select the freebet bonus option on the betting calculator. Just in case you missed  this, the Coral bonus is only available for UK residents.

yes, im still trying to figure out how this works, and uploading funds and opening accounts, but havent bet yet.

As for Coral.. i dont think its just for UK residents. They offered the freebet to residents of many other European countries, including where i am now (DK).

About the calculator.. yes i had further questions, i already posted my questions under a new thread here .

Coral is offering the bonus to other countries than UK. I'll have to ask their support services to confirm what are the specific countries elegible for the bonus offer.
